Live audiovisual performance | 2025
Co-creation with Guillaume Myre and Aurélie Tessier
Morphose is an collaborative audiovisual performance that explores the concept of space. Its title — evoking the idea of progressive change and transformation — reflects the very essence of the project : a creation in perpetual motion, shaped by the interconnection between the artists.
Linked via network, the three instruments transform into a singular and expressive system, allowing the artists to convey a variety of physical spaces and mental states. These audiovisual worlds intertwine to bring forward the ongoing journey of Morphose. The system is built around three elements : a sensor-augmented guitar with machine learning processing, a saxophone with realtime processing via effect chains and pedals, and a flexible, expressive modular synthesis system. The three instruments collectively feed into TouchDesigner, generating audio-reactive visuals that mirror the performance’s shifting sonic worlds.
Blending musical genres such as ambient, electroacoustic and dub techno, Morphose plays with contrasts — shifting between tension and release, intensity and contemplation — while maintaining a sense of fluid and harmonious motion.
